How I can help
Bring me in at the very start, when an idea is still taking shape, or later, when a product has grown complicated and it isn't clear what to design next.
I help founders and teams develop their products. That means working out what to build and why, designing how it works, and testing it with the people it's for. I work closely with whoever is building it.
It starts with a free call about where you are.
Wherever you are
An idea
You have a hunch, a problem you keep seeing, or a sketch on paper. We work out who it's for, what they actually need, and the smallest version worth trying.
Something half built
It exists, but it's unclear what to build next, or people aren't using it the way you hoped. We find out why, and decide what matters most.
Something grown tangled
The product has grown over time and become hard to use or hard to change. We untangle it, piece by piece, without stopping everything else.
Ways we can work together
A
A fresh look
I look closely at a product, service or process that isn't working the way it should, find where it breaks, and help you decide what to fix first.
B
Shaping something new
An app, a physical object or a service. I work with you from the first conversations with the people it's for, through ideas and prototypes, to the final design.
C
Research and testing
When the territory is new or the idea is untested, I talk to the people it's for, then put a quick prototype in their hands with your team, before anyone commits to building it.
Book an exploratory call
A free 30-minute call to talk about your product and see whether I can help.
- 1 —Pick a time that suits you.
- 2 —Tell me a little about your product and what's getting in the way.
- 3 —We talk through the problem and whether I am the right fit.
- 4 —If we go ahead, I send a short proposal with scope and timeline.
Rough is fine. Some of my best projects started from a half-formed idea and a lot of questions.
